1- Hello Sandra, can you please tell us a bit about you?

I'm Okafor Ebubechukwu (Sandra), a freelance writer and virtual assistant. I'm also a third year

student of microbiology. I love reading and watching movies when I'm not working on a

project.

 

2- What are your focus areas and why?

At the moment, I still haven't focused on a particular niche. I'm still trying to broaden my

knowledge across various niches before I finally settle for one.

 

3- How would you describe your strengths in a few words?

The ability to work hard and in a professional manner, communication skills, persistence,

patience, self-discipline.

 

4- Where do you think it’s making an impact?

In every aspect of my job. I need communication skills to understand and be understood

by clients, discipline and professionalism is a must have for every freelancer.

 

5- What is the best practice you did from your job?

Working on a transcription project. It was new and exciting and also stretched me.

 

6- What is the hardest task you did from your job?

Working on an article where I had to add images, image links and then convert

everything to a zip file.

 

7- Do you think your mindset has anything to do with your success?

Yes. Your mindset has a great impact on anything you do as a person. If you think positively,

you experience positivity and vice-versa.

 

8- What advice would you give to young people just starting out and hoping to make it?

Learn before trying to earn. Find your strengths and maximise them. Also identify your

weaknesses and work on them

 

9- Do you find as an expert, that you enjoy the challenge of the industry being complex

with the game rules that are always changing?

Yes i do. The changes prompt us as freelancers to up our game. The world is evolving so

we have to stay up-to-date.

 

10- What do you want to see improved in this complex industry & world in the next years?

I believe more companies will resort to hiring freelancers in the future years. As this will help

cut cost of keeping full employees and also enhance productivity.

 

11- And where do you see you in the next 5 years?

I see myself as a freelancer but with more experience and more sharpened skills in my

portfolio.

 

12- What are you most excited about at the moment?

Achieving my freelancing goals
